The Vice Chancellor, Al-Hikmah University, Prof, Noah Yusuf, the Registrar, Dr. K.A Oladimeji with the management and some senior academic staff of the University, hosted a delegation from Fountain University, Osogbo, led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Olayinka Ramota Karim on Friday, 22nd, September, 2023. In the delegation was the Registrar, Mr. Adenekan Sheriff.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two Universities was signed during the visit as a way to strengthen the bond between the two Islamic Faith-based institutions.
Major aspects of the Agreement include:
*Collaborative Research and Publications
* Joint Conference and Workshop
*Staff and Student exchange
* Inter University Competitions
*Joint Executive/Certificate Programmes
In his welcome address, the Vice-Chancellor, Al-Hikmah University, Prof. Noah Yusuf, expressed appreciation to the visiting Vice-Chancellor and assured that his University would ensure that the partnership between the two Universities is strengthened and sustained.
In her speech, Prof Olayinka Ramota Karim thanked the host Vice-Chancellor for the warm reception and also ensured that the two Universities will work closely together to achieve greater heights. She also extended her regards to the Founder Al-Hikmah University, Alhaji Chief (Dr.) AbdulRaheem Oladimeji for his support for Fountain University.
The Registrar, Al-Hikmah University, Dr. K.A Oladimeji gave the appreciation message. He encouraged the two Universities to uphold the partnership, and urged them to work towards realizing the ideals of the Memorandum of Understanding.
