The management of Al-Hikmah University hosted one of Nigeria’s foremost industrialists, and former Minister of Industries, Chief Kolawole Babalola Jamodu, MFR, OFR, FCA, FCIS, FCIT, FNIM. A close friend of the Founder, Chief Jamodu visited the University to honour his friend and have a personal assessment of the campuses.
Chief Jamodu was ushered to the Council Chamber by Dr. Sikiru Nurudeen, Acting Director, Academic Planning.
In his welcome Address, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Noah Yusuf appreciated the special guest for the honour of his visit to Al-Hikmah University. He then narrated the history of the University and the development strides till date. In particular, he stressed on some University policies, including, moderate fees, non-discrimination, moral and spiritual education. He then urged the special guest to support the University through endowment in his name.
In his response, Chief Jamodu spoke about his wonderful impression about the University. He promised to contribute his own quota towards the infrastructural development of the University.
The special guest was later taken round Adeta and Atere campuses by Dr. Sikiru Nurudeen, the Acting Director of Academic Planning.
