EUROPEAN UNION TEAM VISITS AL-HIKMAH UNIVERSITY

The European Union Research Aid team visits the management of Al-Hikmah University on Tuesday, 28th March, 2023. The four man, team was led by Mr. Christopher AdiNayo from Netherlands; other members are Mr. Oliver Nwankwor from Netherlands, Prof Chris Emenyenu and Mr. John Amadi both from Imo State.

The visit was in line with the directive of the European Union to get the union acquainted with the three institutions that that won the grant of EUR 822,916.97 for the implementation of a project tilted, “Promoting digital financial solutions for farmers in remote communities to adapt to climate change”. The institutions are Al-Hikmah University, University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Imo State and Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.

 Mr. Addy-Naego revealed that he is happy to be in Al-Hikmah University because all he has been hearing are good things about the faith-based institution and ever since he has arrived, everything he has been told as been confirmed. He urged the management to keep up the good work and not relent on the quality of education in the institution.

The Vice Chancellor, Al-Hikmah University, Prof. Noah Yusuf while reacting to his address, stated that the management would do its best for the implementation of the project and also assures the team that man power and infrastructures are in place to enhance quality education in the university.
