Historical Background

Adeyemi Waliyullahi Adeola hails from Osun State, Nigeria. He is an essayist, poet and activist, whose creative career inspires the youngsters that a poet is born, but not made. He has a bachelor’s degree at Al-Hikmah University, Nigeria, with first class Honours in Islamic Studies. Waliyullahi had taught at the College for Legal and General Studies, Minna, Niger State, and he has been a lecturer in his alma mater for half a decade ago. He has obtained a master’s degree at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria. He is currently a doctoral degree candidate at the Kwara State University, Malete, Nigeria.
