





Students of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Al-Hikmah University have been urged to demonstrate competency, creativity, adaptability and resilientce in solving real world problem in addition to academic knowledge.
The Dean of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Al-Hikmah University, Prof. Saidat Onikosi-Alliyu, gave this advice during the maiden distinguished Alumni and Industrial Experts Engagement Forum, organised by the Faculty, with the theme “Transitioning from Campus to Corporate and Non-Traditional Career Pathways.
Prof. Onikosi-Alliyu, says the forum is intended to broaden students’ career imagination and encourage early preparation through delibrate skill acquisition, professional networking and continuous learning, in the world beyond the campus.
The Vice-Chancellor of the university, Prof. Lateef Oladimeji, who was represented at the occasion by Prof. Adesina Raji, urged the students to tap into the opportunity provided by the forum and get mentored, in preparation for life after graduation.
The Vice-Chancellor, commended the faculty for taking the initiative, which he described as a step to expose the students to, networking and mentoring.
In attendance were several resource persons among whom were; a former lecturer, at Al-Hikmah University, Dr. Musiliu Olalekan Oseni now, Chairman, Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, and Mr. Makinde Araoye, Founder, Drudge Group, a Public Policy Strategist and Technology Executive.
