Al-Hikmah University emerged winner of the Inter-University Qur’ān memorisation Competition held at Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu-ode, Ogun State.
At the competition, Umar Masud from the Department of Cyber security, Faculty of Computing and Engineering Science emerged 1st in the category (20 Hisbu), while Salaudeen Azeemah from the Department of Islamic Education also came 1st in the category of (10 Hisbu).
Meanwhile, the contestants also
participated in another Qur’an competition at the University of Ilorin, where Azeemah Salaudeen emerged 2nd in the category of (20 Hisbu), while Umar Masud came 4th position in the category of (30 Hisbu).
