New Director, NOA, Kwara State, visits Al-Hikmah University

The newly posted Director, National Orientation Agency, (NOA), Alhaji Dare AbdulGaniyu, was accompanied by senior officials of the agency in the state.

Welcoming the Director and his team, the Vice-Chancellor of Al-Hikmah University, Prof. Noah Yusuf, traced the history of the university, from inception, in 2005 till date.

The Vice-Chancellor, said the university as an Islamic faith-based institution is focused on reducing societal moral decadence through its various academic activities, which aligns with the agency’s goal of promoting and upholding national values. Prof. Yusuf reiterated the university’s commitment towards supporting the agency’s initiatives and programmes aimed at promoting peace and unity among youths in the country.

Responding, NOA Director, Alhaji Dare AbdulGaniyu, said the purpose of the visit was to seek the university’s collaboration and support in promoting it’s activities targeted towards the reinforcement of cultural heritage and restore morality among youths in the society.

He also highlighted the importance of the NOA’s role in promoting government policies and programmes, and the need for partnership with institutions like Al-Hikmah University.

Alhaji AbdulGaniyu commended the Founder of Al-Hikmah University, Alhaji (chief) Dr Abdulraheem Oladimeji (OFR) and the management of the university in their efforts towards ensuring an affordable tuition fees, compared to other privately owned institutions in the country. He also commended them for their efforts in promoting peace and national unity through the university’s academic programmes and various initiatives.
