Yahaha Ishola Ibrahim was born on 1st October, 1964 in Ilorin, Ilorin West Local Government Area, Kwara State to the family of Late Mallam Yahaya Ore.

Ibrahim Yahaya started Quranic education at early age and completed the recitation of Quran in 1977. He started his primary education in 1972 and graduated in 1977. He proceeded to Government secondary school Agbaja/Lokoja in present day Kogi State and graduated in 1982. After his secondary education, he joined the kwara state civil service as a clerical officer in 1983. After a brief stay in the Kwara State civil service, he proceeded to Bayero University, Kano State for his Bachelor degree and graduated in 1996. He joined the service of Kwara State College of Education, Oro as an Assistant Lecturer.
