I was born in Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria on 26 June 1957. I attended Children House Ibara, Abeokuta Ogun State, Nigeria for my kindergarten education from 1963-1965. After which I continued my education at United Primary School, Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria from 1966-1976. For my secondary education, I attended Government Secondary School, Omu- Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria from 1972-1976. Then proceeded to Abeokuta Continuing Education Center, Ibara, Abeok

• From 1979-1982 attended Ogun State College of Education, Ijebu-Ode (Now Tai Solarin College of Education) for Nigeria Certificate of Education (NCE). Then proceeded to University of Calabar, Calabar, Cross-River State for B A (Ed) from 1982-1985. I studied for LLB and LLM at University of Ilorin, Ilorin Kwara State Nigeria from 1999-2003 and 2009-2011 respectively. I was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006. For my doctoral degree programme, attended University of Dar Es Salaam, Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania from 2013-2020.
