Historical Background

Dr. (Mrs.) Moriam Adeyemi AREMU was born on 23rd May, 1980 to the family of Alhaji and Alhaja s. Kadiri. She attended st. John Anglican Primary School and Ransome Kuti Memorial Grammar School both in Mushin, Lagos, from 1986 to 1996. She also attended University of Ilorin for her B.Sc Degree in Business Administration from 1999 to 2003. She obtained certificate in Data processing and Management Information System in 2003 and proceeded to obtain her M.Sc Business Administration and Ph.D Business Administration from University of Ilorin in year 2008 and 2015 respectively. As her passion for education and teaching advanced, she enrolled for Postgraduate Diploma in Education Programme and graduated with PGDE in 2010 from Usman Dan Fodio University, Sokoto. Dr. (Mrs.) Moriam Adeyemi AREMU started her teaching career as a voluntary Teacher Service in Government High School, Adeta from 2005 to 2007 and became a permanent staff in 2008. In her pursuit to move up the academic ladder, coupled with her expertise and the knowledge acquired in the teaching line. She joined the service of Al-Hikmah University in 2009 as an Assistant Lecturer and rose to Reader in 2021. She was appointed as Ag. Head of Department, Department of Business Administration in 2013, 2014, 2016 to 2020. She is currently the Director Centre for Summer Studies, Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin.
