A team tasked with Preparation for NUC Accreditation of Open Distance Learning (ODL) was constituted by the university management at a meeting held on Monday, March 11, 2024.
The constituted committee was inaugurated on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the council chamber, where the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Noah Yusuf underscored the significant investment made over years by the University’s management in creating an effective e-learning environment.
He noted that the investment has been validated by recent remarks from the National Universities Commission (NUC) e-learning resource team, indicating that the university is ready for ODL and e-learning during their visit for the assessment of the e-learning facilities and physical resources of Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nigeria.
The Vice-Chancellor further urged the newly constituted team to adequately prepare for the commencement of Open Distance Learning following NUC accreditation, assuring them of the management’s support in achieving the goal.
