ABOUT THE JOURNAL

Al-Hikmah Journal of Politics and Public Administration is a peer-reviewed, bi-annual scholarly journal devoted to the advancement of knowledge in political science, governance, public administration, and related social science disciplines. The journal publishes high-quality theoretical, empirical, and policy-oriented research that contributes to contemporary academic and societal debates.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

The journal aims to:

1. Promote rigorous scholarly research in politics, governance, and public administration.
2. Provide a platform for critical analysis of political and administrative issues at local, national, and global levels.
3. Encourage interdisciplinary approaches to the study of public affairs.
4. Support evidence-based policy formulation and public sector reforms.

PEER-REVIEW POLICY

All submissions undergo a double-blind peer-review process by experts in relevant fields. Manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, scholarly quality, clarity, methodology, and contribution to knowledge.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

• Manuscripts should be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
• Length: 5,000 – 8,000 words (including references).
• Format: MS Word, Times New Roman, font size 12, double-spaced.
• Referencing style: APA (7^th edition).
• Include an abstract of 150–250 words and 4–6 keywords.
• Authors’ details should appear on a separate cover page to ensure blind review.
• Article presented for consideration must be accompanied by a non-refundable assessment fees of ₦10,000 and a sum of ₦30,000 will be paid for accepted articles for publication.
• The article will be online
