The Journal of Science Education and Learning Technology (JOLSELT) is a blind peer-reviewed, bi-annual academic publication of the Department of Science Education, Faculty of Education, Al-Hikmah University, Ilorin, Nigeria. It serves as a platform for disseminating original, unpublished empirical and theoretical contributions in Science Education, Educational Technology, and related disciplines.

Focus and Scope

JOLSELT welcomes manuscripts that address contemporary issues, innovations, and research findings in:

History of the Journal

JOLSELT was established as part of Al-Hikmah University’s commitment to promoting research and scholarly communication in science education, educational technology and related areas. Since its inception, it has provided a regional, national and global platform for advancing educational research and practice.

Archiving and Preservation

JOLSELT participates in the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) archival system, ensuring long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. Through LOCKSS, participating libraries can collect, preserve, and restore the journal content when necessary.
