Historical Background

Dr. Shittu Adewole Raji is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Peace and Security Studies (CPSS), Al-Hikmah University Ilorin, Nigeria.The scholar holds PhD degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies from University of Jos, Nigeria. Dr. Raji is an Alumnus of the University of Notre Dame, USA, and a Co-Winner of Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA) which earned the team a Research Grant of $25,000 in 2014 . Apart from being the Chairman of the Society for Peace Studies and Practice (SPSP) Kwara State chapter, Dr Raji is a Chartered Mediator and member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria.
