effort was solidified with the building of the Muslim Ummah and an Islamic State. Da wah through
mass media has evolved as essential tools for spreading the messages of Islam to large audiences. It
is against this backdrop that this paper examines the approaches of the Islamic Scholars to Digital
Da'wah which represent a modern evolution of the traditional Islamic Da'wah activities.
Descriptive and analytical methods was employed in this paper. The descriptive method
documented the platforms, content types, languages, and frequency of online preaching by selected
Muslim scholars while the analytical method assessed the effectiveness of digital daʿwah strategies.
The paper reveals that digital Da'wah represents a modern evolution of the traditional Islamic
Da'wah activities harnessing technology to make Da'wah activities more effective and as well reach
broader audience. Therefore, it is recommended that it is important to make relevant use of Digital
Da'wah by understanding the audience and context for a balanced approach that combines
traditional Islamic values with modern facilities and strategies for effective Da'wah in the digital
era.
