Abstract

This study aimed to find out that educational systems in general, as researchers say, did not produce good poetry.
Most of them have become verbal forms and scientific sayings. However, they are of great benefit and highly
indicative of the scientific state of past ages. These educational systems or poems are considered one of the four
poetic arts in the world, meaning: epic poetry, lyrical poetry, dramatic poetry, and educational poetry. This type of
poetry aims to teach people about their worldly and otherworldly lives and the facts and knowledge related to their
individual and social lives. We find a long-standing precedent for it in most religions, but writers differed in its
origin in Arabic literature, and they went in different directions. Therefore, the researchers aim in this research to
clarify the issue of its origin in Arabic literature. Then the researchers used the descriptive method.
