Abstract

This research delves into the multifaceted impact of AI on the efficiency of a country’s business landscape.
It explores how AI-driven technologies through high technology adoption, mobile cell subscription and
public private partnerships impact business efficiency in the Gambia and Nigeria business environment. To
achieve the objectives of this study, multiple regression technique was employed to provide a
comprehensive overview of AI’s impact in shaping the business environment’s efficiency, offering valuable
insights for policymakers, business leaders, and stakeholder. The differences in the impact of artificial
intelligence adoption and subscription among the two countries do not undermine the significance of the
general applications of AI to promoting business efficiency globally. This study recommends the need to
embrace the high-tech adoption, increase in mobile subscription and public private partnership as
components of AI in boosting global business efficiency.
